What is kickboxing?

Kickboxing is one of the most popular martial arts incorporating Western boxing with the best techniques of martial arts, creating an ultimate style.


Do I need to book or just turn up?

Just turn up.


Who can train?

Adults both male and female and children over the age of four.


What happens in training?

Each class has a different structure to meet demand, ranging from self defence, fitness, syllabus and sparring.


What should I wear or bring to a class?

You should wear loose clothing such as jogging bottoms or shorts, and t-shirt. Also a bottle of water and a towel, inhalers if required, remove jewellery.


How much does it cost?

Do I need to be fit?

No we get you fit.


Is equipment supplied?

After several lessons you will be expected to invest in your own kit which can be supplied by the club (boxing gloves as a minimum).


Do I need to buy a uniform?

No.


Do I have to be a member?

After three weeks you must become insured and you will receive your licence, member insurance and your syllabus book. For all cost please visit Membership.


Can people come and watch?

Yes you can come and watch a session to see if it's for you or your child but after joining we ask that parents watch from outside, especially if the class is bush for health and safety reasons. If your child isn't that confident you can stay with them until they gain their confidence.
